A true great we had our first 1200 in 1980 fitted with an opico turbo then had another 2 shortly afterwards really great to drive miss those days nice to the film ..

Lol, my grandfather/uncle had a MF combine similar model, grandpa wore aviator goggles the dust on the operator was so bad at times. I found out as a kid, sitting up on grain bin riding behind him, that I was allergic to oat dust after sitting in dust all day. We both looked like coal miners at the end of the day. They were high tech machines in their day.

Oddly, on RUclips, "Matador Gigants" (and original unqualified Matador, which were renamed Gigant) are more common than Matador Standards (which this video shows). I don't know if RUclips video frequency is a good representation of what's out there.

Thanks for putting this video up. I know these 400 and 500 combines are very popular amongst collectors these days as are all the old Massey machinery. Does anyone know why the click picture is an Allis Gleaner model A combine.

Werent massys ploughs made by huard in france for them . Never seen this idea before now but it looks as if it shoulda bn a game changer . But ploughs are still the same as ever apart from not so much disc cutters and more skimmer type . Ploughs with disc cutters were allways a heavy plough . . Does anyone know if this diamond plough is still made . Cheers in advance . Thanks for uploading .
